Location: La Foret Conference and Retreat Center, Black Forest, CO

THEMES & PROGRAM!

“…The power to transform the world is effected by love, love originating from the relationship with the divine, love ablaze among members of a community, love extended without restriction to every human being. This divine love…is disseminated by enkindled souls through intimate conversations that create new susceptibilities in human hearts, open minds to moral persuasion, and loosen the hold of biased norms and social systems so that they can gradually take on a new form.”  ~ The Universal House of Justice, 22 July 2020

Conversation is an easily underestimated but vital form of action. Drawing inspiration from A Common Endeavor, we will explore how thoughtful, spiritually grounded conversations can build bonds of trust, bridge divides, awaken hope, and contribute to the ongoing work of creating a more just, united, and flourishing society.

The Baha’i schools are open to everyone. Families of those attending children’s classes, Junior Youth Groups, devotions and study circles are especially encouraged to attend this community-building weekend!

Adults/Youth 15+ – Interactive classes led by youth teams with adult accompaniment, will explore themes drawn from A Common Endeavor, with a focus around how to use conversations in our community building.

Junior Youth (6th-8th grade) – Our team has planned an amazing program of interactive and highly arts based study, self-reflection, and action on the school’s theme.

Children ages 3-12 (pre-K to 5th grade) – Amazing classes are planned around the themes above, with lots of art & movement!
