WHAT TO BRING:

  • Linens, pillow, blanket (linens available from La Foret for $25). [note that most beds are bunk beds; nights are chilly]
  • Towels/toiletries
  • Water bottle/coffee travel mug
  • Jacket/warm layers for cool nights
  • Swimsuit (optional for slip & slide only)
  • Musical instruments
  • Flashlight
  • Prayer book
  • Raincoat/umbrella
  • Sunscreen, bug spray
  • Games/art for free time

RECREATION TIME

  • Parents are responsible for rec time supervision of children & Junior youth/youth.
  • NO POOL this year – it is broken! There will be a slip & slide set up in the field on Sunday from 1:30-2:30, weather permitting.

  • Equipment available for basketball, volleyball, horseshoes & gaga ball.
  • Art supplies available from registration desk.

SPECIAL REC TIME ACTIVITIES

  • Sat 1:30pm – Optional study class (back porch)
  • Sat & Sun 1:30pm: Guided hike with Alicia
  • Sat afternoon in Inglis: Story writing/game development with Sylvia – help us write scenarios for the JY game!
  • Sunday morning 6:30am: Guided meditation walk with Alicia
  • Sun 1:15-2:30pm: Rasa Boxes experiential activity with Justin & Eve Beilovei (meet on Inglis stage)

MEALS/FOOD:

  • 3 meals per day provided
    [Day Guests receive lunch & dinner only on Sat & Sun]
  • Cafeteria style with salad bar
  • Snacks provided throughout the day in Inglis
  • Dietary Restrictions: Please ask at cafeteria for your special meal (vegetarian, vegan, GF, DF). For snacks in Inglis, you may ask snack team.
  • Refrigerator/freezer available in Inglis for those with dietary or medical needs.

SATURDAY EVENING PROGRAM

  • “The Spectacular Quiet”: Youth Film Academy participant Sierra Buah will share her documentary with guided discussion to follow (all ages).  Sierra Buah explores the challenges and opportunities of being mixed race — and one of few black students — at The Air Force Academy High School.
  • Followed by S’mores at the fire. An early S’mores time for those 2nd grade and younger will be held, details TBA.

SUNDAY EVENING PROGRAM

  • “Trials and Tribulations”: The Junior Youth and their facilitators have created a game that is easy to learn, yet leads to insightful consultations and conversations for all ages.
